KKS Release week

Hi friends and happy new year! Today is the start of the first Kraftin Kimmie stamp release of 2018! And let me tell you it is a great one!

I was lucky enough to be asked to be a guest designer this month by Kim Reid owner of Kraftin Kimmie Stamp. Along with my crafting friend Samping Steve! We both were so excited to be apart of this month release and to be doing it together!

Day 1 in the release starts with this adorable hockey girl by Artist Annie Rodrigue called Stacey Slap shot. You can have so much fun with this stamp, colouring her up in your favourite hockey team coloursor even adding a fun background! I decided to colour her up in team Canada colours! I wanted the image to be the main focus of my card, so I kept my card layout simple. I coloured my image using copic markers.

Be sure to come back tomorrow, you don't want to miss Day 2!
thanks for stopping by...happy colouring!

Can't wait to see your krafty kreations!! Happy stampin'!

I was asked this month to be Guest designer for one of favourite stamp company, Kraftin Kimmie!

For our fist challenge this month I made this birthday card for a friends birthday using the adorable stamp set party animals.  http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/product/new-party-animals/

I stamp the image out using your next stamp ink in black olive, I like this ink because it gives a nice dark line. The paper I used is just cheap Kraft paper from Micheals. I used my prisma pencil to colour the image. Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog.

 Happy card making!

Trying new things.

I will be the first to admit that I love to color. It is a hobby that I have found that I enjoy doing. I started off my coloring adventures using copic markers. If you are a hard core coloring like I am, you will understand my love for these markers and also the obsession, of wanting ever color they make.

Lately I have been wanting to try Prisma Pencils. I have a friend who does beautiful work with these pencils. I admire her work and have always wanted to try them out. Amazon last week had a sale on prisma and I order myself the 72 set. Lets just say I am in love! my first image I color was a stamp from magnolia called Gelato Tilda from their 2017 summer collection. here is a link to the site. www.magnoliastamps.us

Hope you enjoy my card. Feel free to leave me a comment if you would like to know my colour list.

Thanks
